保护环境 创建绿色校园

**尊敬的老师 亲爱的同学们：

    绿色是大自然赐予我们人类的宝贵财富，绿色是人类文明的摇篮，绿色是生命脉动的渴望，绿色是人类恒久的主题。大地上拥有和谐的绿色，花儿才显得更加芬芳鲜艳，心海中拥有纯洁的绿意。心灵才显得更加美丽灿烂。

    然而伴随着物质文明的迅速发展，人类的生存环境日益恶化。绿色森林遭遇砍伐，淡水资源严重污染。绿色在减少，生命在消亡，地球在人类的自私中遭受了严重的破坏，已经不堪重负。如今保护环境也成为人们迫在眉睫的任务。

    每年的6月5日是世界环境日，世界环境日的意义就在于提醒人们注意地球状况，和人类活动对环境的危害，他的确立反映了世界各国人民对环境问题的认识和态度，表达了人类对美好环境的追求和向往。

    今年世界环境日中国的主题是：“同呼吸共奋斗”，旨在释放和传递建设美丽中国人人共享、人人有责的信息，倡导在一片蓝天下生活、呼吸的每一个公民都应树立牢固的保护生态环境的理念，自觉从我做起，从小事做起，尊重自然，顺应自然，增强节约意识、环境意识和生态意识，养成健康合理的生活方式和消费模式，为建设美丽中国而奋斗。

    作为学生，虽然我们很难呼唤社会的力量，但我们可以从身边做起：树立绿化校园的意识，履行绿化校园的义务；培养良好的卫生习惯，遵守学校的规章制度，积极主动的做好值日工作，为美化环境做应有的贡献。我们应该认识到创建绿色校园是我们每个人的任务与职责，明白创建绿色校园并非一人之事，也并非一天之功。这需要我们全体师生共同努力，使我们的校园环境无处不清新，无处不优雅。创建绿色校园除了对学校自身有重要意义外，也是创建绿色祖国，绿色世界的开篇序幕。

    另外，6月6日是爱眼日，在爱眼日即将到来之际，学校将在各班教室贴好眼保健操示意图，也希望大家能够按标准认真做好眼保健操，保护好自己的视力，这样我们才能更好地看到我们绿色的校园。

    同学们，让我们一起行动起来，将绿色作为我们生活的主旋律，用爱心来关注校园环境，用热情去传播环保理念，用行动肩负起保护绿色校园的重任吧。爱护校园，就是爱护我们自己的家；创建绿色校园，我们责无旁贷！**

**Good Morning, Dear Teachers and Fellow students:

    As we all know, greeness is the most precious gift from nature. Greeness is where our civilization derives, is the reason why our hearts are beating, and is the permanent theme of we human’s world.

    With the speedy material progress, however, the living condition of human race is falling into degradation. Right now, at the exact moment I’m speaking, acres of trees are being cut down and tons of polluted water are getting into our water resources. The whole world is just suffering from people’s greed and selfishness.

    World Environment Day, commemorated each year on June 5 is one of the principal vehicles through which the United Nations stimulates worldwide awareness of the environment. And this year we got “to breathe and to fight together” as the theme. In fact, even though we are merely students, we can actually do a lot of everyday things on our own, like keeping our school clean.

    Another special day coming this week is the Eye Health Day. Our school has given the instructions of protecting the eyes in each classroom, and we do hope that all of you can follow them and make your eyesight better, in order to appreciate the beauty of our school with plants all around.

    This work shall not be done alone. I need you, all of you to be active in this activity to protect the environment of our school with passion and enthusiasm. After all, to keep it clean is to keep our home clean. No one should do it more than us.
