20161114国旗下讲话——世界学生节

1939年11月17日，侵入捷克斯洛伐克的德国法西斯匪徒屠杀了布拉格大学9名学生和2位教授，其他各校的男女学生也遭到机枪扫射、殴辱和监禁。

1946年11月17日，世界各国学生代表于布拉格召开全世界学生大会，为了在大学生中倡导追求和平、民主和自由，也为了纪念反法西斯的大学生运动，将每年的11月17日定为世界学生日，以激励全世界学生共同为建设一个和平、民主、进步的世界而努力。

截至今年，国际大学生节已是第70届。今天的我们应当庆幸自己出生在一个以和平与发展为主题的时代，一个综合国力文稳步飙升的世界强国。

有一句话是这样讲的：如果你觉得活得很舒服，那是因为有很多人在默默为你付出；如果你觉得很安全，那是因为有很多人在为你承担风险，他们是边疆官兵、维和部队、外交官、公共服务的各行各业，为了你和我更强的安全感，在不懈努力。一百年前，梁启超先生曾经说过：今日之责任不在他人，而全在我少年，少年强则中国强。

我校更是始终坚持“开放多元自强志远”的校训，将学生的朝气与创造力相结合，培养学术研究与道德品格兼容并蓄的高素质人才。开展多种校园活动，号召全校师生参加公益，宣传和平，做志愿者，参加慈善活动，义务献血，接待国际友人增进各国文化交流等。我校用实际行动将“国际大学生节”铭记历史的初衷，升华为张扬学生个性，展现校园文化的基点，将“选贤与能，讲信修睦”儒家之大同思想体现的淋漓尽致。

我们作为当代中学生，更应肩负时代责任，在如此优越的环境下，勤奋刻苦、精于学业。因为只有这样，我们才能骄傲地回应一百多年前梁启超先生的期盼：少年强则国强，中国强则中国少年强，中国强就是因为少年强。我们有责任和义务担当起时代的重任，为世界的和平与发展尽一份自己的心力，使全世界的学生都可以感受到爱在同一片阳光下的温暖！

Dear teachers and schoolmates:

Good morning!

On November 17, 1939, Germany  Nazi  stormed the University of Prague, murdered nine students leaders and two professor . Students in other schools had also been attacked, abused and insulted. What an appalling crime!

The 17th of November was first marked as International Students’ Day in 1941 in order to remember the incident, advocate the pursuit of peace, democracy and freedom among college students.

This year, we have witnessed its 70th anniversaries. It reminds me of the words of Mr Liang Qichao, the foremost intellectual leader of China . 100 years ago, he said, “The obligation of this generation falls on we teenagers. The more promising the youth is, the more thriving and powerful our country will become”.

Those lines are echoing among us. As contemporary middle school students, it is our obligation to improve ourselves. Only with the improvement can we shoulder the obligation of the time, meet the expectations of Mr Liang and make a contribution to the peace and development of our country and the world.
