我的祖国

高山，诉说威严，蓝天，祖述旷远；江河，书写恢宏。

当巍峨的华表披上曙光；当雄伟的天安门迎来新一轮的太阳；当无数先烈用鲜血染红的五星红旗在天安门广场冉冉升起伟大的领袖毛主席洪亮的声音传遍了全世界：中华人民共和国成立了！中国人民从此站起来了！这一时刻，对于一个饱经忧患、受尽凌的民族来说是多么宝贵啊！一个响亮的名字；一个让世界震撼的名字；一个让无数华夏儿女为之骄傲与自豪的名字，从此诞生了。

她是一个神话，她用五千年的时间缔造了这个神话。

曾经，她衰落到令世界蔑视；如今她依旧经历着挫折，困难，却辉煌到令世界瞠目！

岁月荏苒，我们亲爱的祖国终于在经历磨难与屈辱后凭借自己坚韧顽强的毅力、自强不息的民族气节以及千千万万众志成城的华夏儿女而屹立于世界强国之林！

2008年5月12日，一个永远定格的日子；一个刻骨铭心的日子！一场突如其来的地震夺走了无数人的生命。生命在自然灾害面前脆弱到了极致，如雨中的浮萍；如飘散的柳絮；如水中的蝼蚁。但是，因为有爱，因为有伟大的祖国，生命依然在沿着五千年的文明传递，生生不息！它以它顽强不屈的姿态，创造了一个个奇迹，成为巍巍昆仑，莽莽太行。而这一切都是来源于我们伟大的祖国！

走出天灾的废墟，昂首迈进奥运的赛场。

好一个中国！好一场奥运！充分展现中国悠久的历史与灿烂的文化，同时也将中国对奥林匹克精神的追求与宣扬，愿与世界和平共同营造一个平安乐的大家园的愿望表现得淋漓尽致！申办奥运会的竞争，实际上是一场综合国力、经济实力、科技实力、文化魅力的竞争，是一场国家形象和民族地位的竞争。而我们，我们伟大的祖国成功了！这充分表现了我国综合国力与国际地位的显著提升！

耻辱和不幸已经成为过去，中华民族迎来了新的辉煌。我亲爱的祖国，您五千年的蕴涵和积淀，您六十年的扬弃与继承，不管风吹浪打胜似闲庭信步，和平与发展是您热切表达的心声！您不卑不亢、不躁不惊，以坦荡豁达和深邃闲静，阔步在新世纪的黎明！

Mountains, are telling us the dignity of our nation, sky representing the connotation of our country, rivers, are expressing the grandeur of our homeland and the nationals, who face the trails throughout history, combat with the hard life they lead either. These various things composes the great country that is esteemed and beloved by us.

When the ground greeted the sun and was shrouded by the dawn, as the flag dyed with the martyr’s blood was fluttering in the sky, a new name that vibrated the whole world, and made everyone who witnessed the stimulating scene be proud of it, had given birth by Mao Zedong—the People’s Republic of China.

China,who is now respected by most of the world,has spent 5000 years to overcome the history which was full of humiliation,and create the legend today.We remember the oppressive history we had—the opium Wars,the Sino-Japanese War and so many wars that ruined our country.

As time passed,the disgraces and misfortunes have gone with the time,and China has met the new glories.Through the Olympic Games,China told the whole world that,she was not the powerless country that could be humiliated by any other countries—Chine has already become a country that cannot be ignored!

So beautiful my country is!

So majestic China is!
